It was fantastic! The people, the quality of merchandise, the memories created, connections made, and the buyers, oh my buyers were wonderful! I have waited 7 long years to do this show, literally. This was the one, the one I had been waiting for, I needed to see if I could hang with the big dogs. As soon as I began to set my stage, I knew I was happy just to be there. Just by showing up I had made it, by being willing to participate. I felt proud of all the hard work and effort that it took just to get to that point. Everything about the show turned out to be a blessing. Even the extreme physical pain my body was in built my character, and oh..........I wasn't in Vintage. I planned my booth out down to the note, packed the van as high as it would go, prepared for any situation that could arise, and I forgot to pack a great outfit for myself. Turns out I was also in to much pain to look pretty anyway, so there I am in a t-shirt and jeans with my head held high, my ego stuck in my throat and I really worked the booth. I woke up two days later in my own bed with the show completed, my feet swollen to a size 10 and for the first time in my life I knew that I was going to be ok. That what ever came my way, big or small could be turned into something wonderful and it's the best feeling I've ever had. Thank you to Cats Pajamas Productions for putting on a great show. Thank you to everyone who came out to support me, and thank you to everyone who has supported me with your purchase or your comments, both go straight to my heart and farther than you know : )
Thank You!
